The volume of electronic data uncovered during litigation is immense and growing. The challenge is identifying the relevant data in a cost and time effective manner. LTU image recognition technology can help with this task. Our technology will search for and sort image data – which in litigation is often in the form of scanned documents. LTU finder is used during the data gathering step as a part of a computer forensic investigation. LTU engine is used in the analysis and review phase, to identify the most likely relevant (or eliminate the irrelevant) data.
LTU engine integrates into your existing eDiscovery or eDisclosure system to cull and prioritize image documents for review. For example, LTU engine can identify images that are likely to be scanned documents for OCR, group similar types of scanned documents, and eliminate images likely to be irrelevant (such as family photos etc.).
