Noboru Nakatani

Chairman of Board, CEO Jastec Co., Ltd.

Noboru Nakatani is CEO of JASTEC Co., Ltd., the holding company of LTU technologies, and a leading software developer in Tokyo, Japan (Tokyo Stock Exchange Symbol: 9717). Prior to joining JASTEC, Noboru spent nearly two years at Deloitte & Touche LLP Strategic Consulting Practice in New York. Before joining Deloitte & Touche, Noboru spent 12 years with Canon, Inc. as R&D Department Manager with Canon Research Centre France, S.A., Senior Product Development Engineer at Canon Headquarters in Tokyo, and Production Engineer at Canon Bretagne, S.A. in France. Noboru holds an MBA degree from UCLA Anderson School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering degree from Keio University, Japan. He is fluent in Japanese, English and French, and an inventor of five granted U.S. patents.


Frédéric Jahard

Chief Executive Officer

Prior to his role as CEO, Fred was Business Development Engineer, VP of Engineering and CTO at LTU technologies. His deep technological background originates from a degree in image processing from ENST (Telecom Paris, one of the leading French engineering schools). He worked for Peugeot Citroen/Jaguar on an advanced night vision system and was a Product Development Manager atMATRAnet, a software company specializing in providing security solutions. During his free time when he is not in front of the computer, you can find him playing squash with a glass of wine in his hand.


Catherine Faure

Chief Financial Officer

Catherine has 15 years of experience in the high-tech industry. For 9 years, she served as the VP of Finance for Genset, a listed, cutting-edge biotech company, acquired by Serono in 2002. She participated in the development of Genset from the start-up phase of a few founders to the international group of 500 employees. In particular, she had a direct experience in creating Genset subsidiaries and in preparing a dual listing on Nasdaq and Nouveau Marché . She received a Master's degree from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris.


 Stephen Shepherd

General Manager US and Vice President Sales Americas & Asia

Stephen Shepherd brings 17 years corporate sales experience to LTU technologies.  With a core focus on strategic selling, Stephen is both an individual sales contributor and team leader.  Stephen’s core experience draws from technology and content integration services.   Prior to joining LTU technologies, Stephen held senior sales executive and management positions with industry leaders in stock photography, B2B publishing and B2C music/entertainment.  Stephen also held technical sales positions with financial information service aggregators Primark, OneSource and Lotus Development Corporation.


Ray Owens

Vice President Sales Europe, Middle-East and Africa

For promoting LTU solutions, Ray applies his broad experience in information technology to the needs of particular users and enterprises. Prior to LTU, he exercised both technical and commercial responsibilities, at the international level, for American and French technology providers in the fields of database and telecommunications technologies - AT&T, Datapoint, Teknekron Infoswitch, Alcatel, Activeo,... A native of Texas, he is fascinated with digital imagery and claims to be a very good amateur photographer.


Alexandre Winter

Advisor, Co-Founder

Prior to founding LTU technologies, Alex worked as a researcher at the Image and Multimedia Indexing Group at INRIA where he developed a new technology that enables object detection and retrieval in the image description engine. He brought to INRIA and LTU his experience working as an engineer at Aerospatiale-Matra, the leading European company in aeronautics, aerospace and defense manufacturing. Alexandre received his Ph.D. with honors in Image Processing from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Telecommunications in Paris. He graduated from ENST with a major in Image Processing.
