- The Wall Street Journal Europe "Innovation Award" - November 2001

WSJE

LTU won the Innovation Award"The panel of judges were looking for companies that have developed a technology that can have a transforming impact on their customers' businesses while at the same time having unique intellectual property that can allow them to compete with larger and much better capitalised entities. LTU enjoys all of these attributes. Its software has a tremendous heritage having been developed at INRIA, the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control. LTU's software addresses an important customer need -- the ability to compare and index digital images in an automated fashion. This has great relevance to researchers, marketing departments, media and design companies, online auction companies and portals. At a time of information overload and a potential explosion in digital content, LTU offers a product that can improve productivity and allow customers to find the precise information they are looking for in a much more timely fashion."
