AccessData Corporation, the fastest growing provider of end-to-end digital investigations solutions and LTU technologies, a leading provider of image recognition and search technologies have entered into a joint partnership aimed at enhancing AccessData’s image search and identification capabilities. Integrating AccessData’s Forensic Toolkit® (FTK®) with image recognition from LTU technologies will be of particular value to law enforcement agencies inundated with image-related investigations such as child pornography cases.

Recognized as the industry-standard software provider of computer forensic investigation solutions, AccessData will, through this long-term alliance, continuously add LTU technologies’ unique image recognition and artificial vision algorithms to their existing product portfolio. These cutting-edge algorithms, used by law enforcement agencies throughout the world since 2000, will improve investigators’ response time and effectiveness, while advancing automated analysis tools to handle the blind spots that visual content still represents for most computer forensics tools.

“The partnership with LTU technologies greatly enhances our product offering and strengthens our position in the market,” said Tim Leehealey, CEO for AccessData. “LTU technologies is a pioneer in the image recognition space. Their proven capabilities and vast experience with the law enforcement community made partnering with LTU technologies an obvious choice for us.”

"We are very pleased about the partnership with AccessData and are excited about joining forces to enrich its already impressive roster of digital forensics products,” said Alexandre Winter, CEO and Co-founder of LTU technologies. “This partnership allows us to further expand our footprint within the computer forensics market alongside one of the leading software vendors. We look forward to collaborating with AccessData on next-generation solutions to the computer forensics industry,” said Winter.
